Calling artists, students, and community members to design the official poster for our annual swim across Keuka Lake benefitting Keuka Comfort Care Home. The winning design will be showcased on our website, at the event, and across promotional materials.  Please read offical Disclosure and Agreement Terms below.

By submitting a poster design for the Krossin’ Keuka 2026 Poster Contest, each participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to all interested artists, students, and community members.

• Submissions must be received by February 1, 2026 in print-ready PDF format, sized to fit both 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 poster dimensions.

• Entries must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe on any third-party rights.

2. Required Poster Elements

Each submitted poster must include the following:

• The title of the event: Krossin’ Keuka 2026

• The event date:  Saturday, July 25, 2026

• The official description of the event:  Limited to the first 200 registered swimmers. Krossin' Keuka is a .67 mile FUN family swim across Keuka Lake to benefit the Keuka Comfort Care Home. This is not a race. It's a FUNdraising event - all are welcome. Each swimmer agrees to raise $150 in sponsorships prior to the event. Swimmers are escorted by paddlers and marine patrol and greeted with a light breakfast on the shore.

3. Winner Selection and Recognition

• One winning poster will be selected by the Krossin’ Keuka committee.

• The winner will receive:

  • One free registration for the 2026 Krossin’ Keuka swim event

  • Recognition on the official poster

  • Recognition on the Krossin’ Keuka website

  • Recognition at the 2026 event

• There will be no monetary award or exchange of money associated with this contest.

4. Ownership and Rights

• By submitting a poster design, participants agree to waive all rights, title, and interest in their submission if selected as the winning design.

• The winning design becomes the exclusive property of Keuka Comfort Care Home.

• Keuka Comfort Care Home reserves the right to:

  • Use the winning design in whole or in part in promotional materials, mailings, event programs, t-shirts, merchandise, and any other media formats deemed appropriate.

  • Make edits, alterations, or adaptations to the winning design for marketing, fundraising, or event purposes.

• Non-winning submissions remain the property of the participant but may not be used to promote other events without the express written consent of Keuka Comfort Care Home.

5. Representations and Warranties

By submitting a poster, participants represent and warrant that:

• The design is their original work.

• The submission does not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of any third party.

• The submission contains no offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content.

• All required poster elements (see Section 2) have been accurately included.

6. Liability and Indemnification

• By entering the contest, participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Keuka Comfort Care Home, Krossin’ Keuka organizers, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising from participation in the contest or use of the submitted design.

• Keuka Comfort Care Home assumes no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete submissions.

7. Final Authority

• All decisions made by Keuka Comfort Care Home and the Krossin’ Keuka committee regarding the contest, including selection of the winner and use of the winning design, are final and binding.

• Keuka Comfort Care Home reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if necessary.

By submitting a design, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this disclosure.
